I had a lot of fun this year, if you were able to join us for the Championship Banquet you certainly heard that loud and clear. You also heard that I’ve made more mistakes than I care to admit and that changes to improve the league are always welcome.
Here’s your chance. I’ve put together a little form for you to fill out anonymously. It has a few satisfaction type questions, a few suggestions I’ve already heard from members and a chance to share your own thoughts on things we should improve or remove from our schedule next year. If you have a few minutes click on the link below and share your thoughts.
Some of the suggestions I’ve already heard from you are – start a Senior Division with less structure, close the year with a playoff event to decide winners, move the Brad One Club to earlier in the season, institute a live leader board for Thursday night scoring, and organizing a flighted 18 hole event on the weekend.
One of the things I’ve been worried about this year is the complexity of the scoring system I’ve inherited and tried to improve. It’s basically a Google Program that meets our needs but requires a lot of love, expertise and attention. Basically, it’s not sustainable for the long haul and I’ve been investigating a variety of other commercial options including the USGA GHIN system.
I’d also like to get together before our Draft Night to introduce new Members of the Club to the Men’s League and I’m thinking that an event surrounding the opening day of the Masters is a perfect fit.
The Feedback Form let’s you share your opinion on all of these topics and the chance to add your own ideas. There isn’t any need to send me an email. Thanks again for a great year. Only 217 days until our Opening Day Scramble!
Play Well, see you soon.
